3. Where did your ancestors immigrate from to Canada? (Be ready by Wednesday)

4. Tomorrow, EP is outside 8:10 - 8:50 

5. Opera presentation is tomorrow at 10am.

6. Book report is due this Thursday. 

Social studies: For our history unit, that will start after the Spring break, we are asking that students find out about how their ancestors came to Canada, what generation and when. It will help us to have a conversation about how Canadian identity was pieced together. We ask that the students have that information by Wednesday.

Le 6 mars

1. Today, in dance, we went a circle and everyone showed a dance move that others had to repeat. (Hugo)

2. Today we met with our reading buddies and read books with them. (Hope)

3. Today we didn't have a lot of time to do math, we played a game in groups of three to practice times tables to make division easier. (Tyce/Hugo)

4. Today we went outside and played kickball. (Georgia)

5. In ELA, we continued our book report. At this point, we should be done and editing or doing extras. (Yuahn)

6. Tuesday, March 10th is Calgary Opera at 10am 'Musicians of Bremen'

7. Monday, March is the evening Hip-Hop performance.

1. Today we had dance with Ajay and we learned more moves and we practised them. (Caylee)

2. Today in ELA, we are supposed to be finishing question H, last one, of the oral presentation (Oly)

3. Tomorrow we have a tour of FE Osborne for those students that are designated to FEO for Grade 6. (Georgia)

For our history unit, that will start after the Spring break, we are asking that students find out about how their ancestors came to Canada, what generation and when. It will help us to have a conversation about how Canadian identity was pieced together. We ask that the students have that information by Monday, March 9^th.

Math: Today we focused on short division.

For example: the dividend is 4 826, the divider is 2. What is a quotient? Students have to use mental math to find the answer.
