Number talk will be an integral part of our work in math. Number talk helps
students develop computational fluency and strategies for mental math.
Place value is our first unit that we started working on today.
Goal 1: to know place value of each digit up to one million
Goal 2: to read big numbers in French with ease
Goal 3: to be able to record numbers in 4 different forms: symbolic, expanded
(forme développée), in words and in a place value table.
