Teacher’s corner:

Finish math at home if not
finished in class. Our first math quiz on place value will be next week.
On Friday in
math students presented their mystery number, practiced multiplication tables
playing cards, tried to finish all the exercises in math book and our number
talk was 3x2x7x2
2.
French Guided Reading: on
Friday was our first guided reading lesson.
Students work
in small groups with the books at their reading level. There are 8 tasks that
target comprehension, fluency, accuracy and vocabulary building that students
have to complete while working with their guided reading books.
Guided
reading will be an ongoing activity throughout the year. I will be reading with
a different group of students every day.
3. Terry Fox run is on
Friday, September 27th. Donations are accepted until September 27th.
