Teacher's corner
1. On Friday, I need to dress warmly for the weather for the Terry Fox Run (in layers and in safe outdoor shoes to run in rather than winter boots or rain boots). If it is snowing or raining lightly, we are still running outside. (If weather is unsafe, we will be inside.) I also need to bring a pair of dry socks to change into afterwards.
2. Today we had our first math quiz on place value. During a quiz students can use their math journals to help with the questions and they are to work independently.
3. Health: we talked about feelings and students identified that feelings on the outside can mask underlying feelings. Students worked in groups to present skits to illustrate feelings with examples.
