Stream of Dreams:
Science: Our
class spent the morning working with Stream of Dreams organisation. Students
learned about different types of fish in Calgary rivers, fish life cycle, water
cycle, what happens to all water that goes down the storm drains in the
streets, the importance of keeping rivers clean to ensure the survival of fish
in Calgary watershed system.
Creative part: students created
a fish of their own: they decided on the pattern for the fish and transferred
that pattern onto the wooden template using outdoor paint.
French: Today students started their presentations of
Placemat project that they have worked on for the month of September.
