Math: Our number talk today was on addition
and subtraction. Students were presented with the following questions:
The
result of the sum is 240. How can you get the result?

result of the difference is 240. How can you get the result?
Students also had a chance to play
Q-bitz, a math game that is a perfect combination of patterns and geometry.
Science: Students spent time brainstorming ideas
about what their shoe box houses or buildings can have that show all the concepts
we have studied. Some examples are: elevator, garage door, fire place,
Christmas lights. A full list of ideas will be compiled and given to students.
