Le 7 novembre

Teacher’s corner:
Remembrance Day assembly is tomorrow, November 8th at 10:30am: rm. 18 is presenting song ‘La Colombe’ on ukuleles, bells and drums. Students will also share their artwork and poems or messages based on their artwork.
If possible, wear black, white, red.

Guides and Scouts are to wear their uniforms for the Remembrance Day assembly.

Math: we continue to explore patterns. Our focus this week is patterns with a variable.
That what it looks like:

ELA: We continue reading novel Swindle. As we read, we look at figurative language such as similes, metaphors and alliterations. This week we finished chapters 3 and 4. Yesterday and today students have had a chance to present a scene from the book in groups of 4. We had a lot of fun watching various interpretations of the scene and I am impressed by the dramatic talent that students have displayed.
