Remembrance Day assembly.
Math:
we continue to explore patterns. Our focus this week
is patterns with a variable.
ELA: We continue
reading novel Swindle. As we read, we look at figurative language such as
similes, metaphors and alliterations. This week we finished chapters 3 and 4. Yesterday
and today students have had a chance to present a scene from the book in groups
of 4. We had a lot of fun watching various interpretations of the scene and I
am impressed by the dramatic talent that students have displayed.
