Teacher’s corner:
1. ELA: work on your
book report. Look at the calendar we had made to keep track of your progress.
Are you where you need to be?
2. Math: practise multiplication tables. A
good website for practice sheets is https://www.mathslibres.com/multiplication.php
3.Math: today we learned what a multiple
of a number is and we practised finding multiples of numbers 2, 7, 11 and 10.
We started applying the knowledge of multiples to develop a multiplication
strategy.
For
example: 7 x 10 = 70, 7 x 100 = 700, 7 x 1000 = 7 000. Students practised identifying
multiples in the equations. For example, 70 is a multiple of 10 and of 7 etc…
4.Social Studies: our focus of study this
term is First Nations.
Our objective
is to explore and understand how traditions and life style of First nations
peoples differed from one region of Canada to another.
5.FLA: we
continue working on two past tenses Imparfait and Passé Composé.
Our goals are:
-
to be able to identify when we should use Imparfait or
Passé Composé
-
use correct forms of both tenses
-
incorporate the correct forms of the verbs in Imparfait
or Passé Composé in our everyday writing in FLA, social studies, science and
math.
